WELCOME TO I.M. SEW HAPPY

I.M. Sew Happy for seamstress and alterations was founded in 2021. And it's located in LivingstonTx. I started my sewing business out of my house; in my living room.  In October 2023, 

I moved into a business building as my small business out grew that living room space. 

A little bit about me: My name is Isis J. Martin. I am a single mom and have one son left at home who is 18yrs old currently. I left the work/day job in April 2024. I hope to never return to that. I believe my business is sufficient for our family needs. I believe in Jesus Christ. Sewing is meditative, 

there is a peace that comes over me when I am sewing. 

I really enjoy being creative & artistic in many forms. I draw & paint as well. 

Sewing is #1. My sewing first began in Seminole Texas when I chose "home economics" as my elective class in Jr High. My best learning I credit to the more experienced Ladies who have been in my life; Grandma Rita & my sister Dalia. Including all I gained from the wise women who formed some of our local quilt guild groups. I am blessed & grateful to have such a range of teaching women who were all eager to share their knowledge and best sewing techniques with me.

I formed my business in 2021 at the persuasive encouragement of people I respect and care about.

I am ready to handle your sewing needs; I have the sewing machines: 3 Janome, 1 Necchi, 2 Brother, a Innovise Embroidery, a Bernina serger, a 2 Singer serger and the supplies required to ensure completetion of your job.
